AI infrastructure risk analysis: data center vacancy 1.4%, 54 months grid connection wait, $725B hyperscaler capex in 2026, AI token spend +13x YoY and possible market correction risk.  
  
I created this overview because I think several AI-related risks are starting to connect.

  
Data center capacity is tight, grid connections are slow, AI capex is rising aggressively, and some AI companies are still burning a lot of cash. 

  
At the same time, customers are starting to question real usage costs, while hyperscalers may need more debt or share issuance to finance this cycle.

  
For me, the biggest risk is not AI itself.   
AI can still be a huge long-term trend.   
The risk is valuation. 

  
When every company connected to AI is priced for perfect growth, even a small slowdown in demand, funding or capex expectations can create a much larger market reaction.

  
This is why I do not want to chase every AI-linked rally at any price.   
I prefer long-term dividend income, diversification and disciplined DCA.  
I may miss some upside in the hottest names, but I also want my portfolio to survive periods when expectations reset.
