8 weeks - normal peak fussiness or something else?
Our daughter just turned 8 weeks old and we’re trying to figure out whether this is normal peak fussiness, or something else.
For the past week she’s had several days where she was sweet, smiling, calm, and engaging. But we’ve also had a few days where she is basically either feeding, sleeping, or crying.
Today at around 8pm, she became so inconsolable that I put her in a BabyBjörn carrier to help her sleep. Instead of calming down, she cried at what felt like blood-draw/vaccination intensity for several minutes and then eventually fell asleep from exhaustion while being carried.
Has anyone experienced this around 8 weeks? Did it turn out to be normal developmental fussiness/colic/overtiredness, or was there another explanation?
Ps. We have our 2 month appointment on Monday and I’ll definitely bring it up to our doctor.
