Am I going to hell for not having every sacrament?
Okay so basically I live (and was born) in Italy from an Algerian dad and a Romanian mom, but because my dad's atheist and I live with my mom I grew up Christian Orthodox. However, my mom never let me go to church or get any sacrament (apart from baptism obvi) because she believes every single catholic priest is a pedophile and in the town I live in there are only catholic churches (and some mosques which I've been to, they're actually really cool lwk underrated. My dad brought me there when I was like 7 because he wanted to teach me arabic, starting from the script, and asked some arab muslim dude for help and idk brought me to the mosque, it was cool. What's funny is that I thought I was supposed to speak Romanian at first because with relatives I speak that, lmaooo they were so pissed. He also tried to teach me French but failed miserably, like what the f@ck? Wdym "eau" is pronounced "o"??? My little child brain hanged itself).
The closest Orthodox church is like in the big city which is 1hr of drive away, not that much but would you really drive that much just to go to church for 10 mins in the morning? Also you should consider traffic and stuff like that. To be honest the Churches in my town are kinda boring, like they're so whatever...so basic, unlike Romanian churches. Is this racist to say? Church racism perhaps? I mean to be fair Romanians are the ones discriminated against in Italy, so is it really that bad to kind of turn it around? At least for once? Yeah no it's still racist but come on, it's true that the average Romanian church looks better than the average Italian one. Italy got the best churches but Romania got the better ones in general. That seems fair. Does God even care thay much about churches being pretty?
So like I only got my baptism thing done and not everything else, how bad is that? Although I'm kinda grateful because Italian communions are certainly...something. I'm specifically talking about the Naples ones. Yeah no, traumatic experience, they're worse than Saturday night disco raves. I went to one a month ago or so and I'm not exaggerating when I say that I lost my hearing for 10 minutes, the music was so loud...it was so extravagant, it had a red carpet for the kid with fake smoke, even fireworks...I hate parties. Naples is truly wild, although at least they're Christian? That's a good thing I guess, Christians are good kind hearted people, in general. Naples has a strong sense of community which is cool, but which makes me like super uncomfortable. Actually it's the same for all of Italy except Milan. Like, strangers always greet and smile at you...what the hell? Who even are you? F£ck off b#tch. And bless you.
Are sacraments really that important? I honestly never understood why communions even exist
