Launched My First AppStore App - Digestible History
I spent months and months working on a passion project that I know has an extremely small user base, but plowed through it anyway. I am a nerd for US History and built an app that I had been wanting for years. It has four main sections: US Presidents, US States, USA History Timeline, and an On This Day hub that pulls historic newspapers from the Library of Congress. I also added a "Landmarks" hub with thousands of locations from National Parks, State Parks, Presidential Landmarks and general road trip type items of interest. Additionally, I added a Further Education hub of books and movies/docs that I have consumed in my life and recommend. I will add to this section as I come across more things or as I remember items I have consumed in my days. I tried to keep this section to the best or most comprehensive items as I am sure no one wants to see 45 books about NASA's Apollo Program.
Looking for some feedback on thoughts and opinions of the app if you check it out. Not really much of a design person, so I feel like there could be some good feedback on the overal design.
My overall goal of the app was to keep all history tidbits short and sweet to appeal to people short on time. I have added "Further Reading" links for all timeline events in the app in case a topic or event intrigues you, you can think open the link in app and read more in depth on the topic. I spent so long curating all of the content that I am excited to share with anyone who might be interested in the topic.
Really no idea if this is any good or not, so any and all feedback would be welcomed.
