Is it possible to enjoy the pull-off’s without being constantly harassed?

I really enjoyed my time in the park. One thing that bothered me though (I hate to me a curmudgeon, or that guy), buy it really irked me whenever I tried to use one of the pull-off’s. Sometime I just like to stop, and observe a particular wildflower, or a bird species. Constantly I was interrupted with people pulling up right next to me, rolling down their window, and shouting what do I see , or if I see a bear.
