HAs & Pixel 10 Pro "Snow" (i.e., 1950s TV off-air *shhhhh*) sound - Bluetooth 6 NOT compatible with Philips 9050 per Google AI - huh??? I feel duped! Anyone else notice this? Need work-around

After finally getting the Philips 9050 HAs (1.3.1)/HearLink 2 app (1.7.2), I am greatly disappointed to hear the same "snow" sound intermittingly through the HAs as I had when trialing the Costco OTC Lexie B2 Plus (that I returned thinking it was mfg. defect). Lexie tech support told me the issue was with my right ear but I've *never* had tinnitus in that ear. I have profound loss in my L ear above 3k frequency; R ear is good to 8k at 80dB.

Yesterday, Day 3, I observed the "snow" cuts out/off for 2 seconds (then comes back on) every time I tap to open an app - doesn't matter which one - all of them. This also happens when I tap the display off on my phone. [Tbh, I don't recall if the anomaly was intermittent or constant with the Lexies.] Has anyone else noticed this or am I just extra sensitive to background noises?

My trouble-shooting experience told me this is related to my phone and/or Bluetooth, not the HAs nor my ears. GSMarena states Bluetooth "6.0, A2DP, LE, aptX HD" for Pixel 10 P.
Per Google AI:

The Philips HearLink 9050 hearing aids are not compatible with Bluetooth 6.0 (which does not exist yet), aptX HD, or standard Classic Bluetooth (A2DP). They use modern Bluetooth LE Audio for wireless streaming and hands-free calls.

Why wasn't this disclosed on any of the extensive research I did on both my phone and HAs? This issue is extremely distracting to me. So to get Auracast I have to tolerate this? I am beyond the return date for my phone but obviously not the HAs. I really wanted to get away from Apple bc they don't have native Auracast....feel like I'm out of options. 😪
