Femoral neck stress fracture

Back in January I had my first pain after running consistently for 6 months, at first I thought I just pulled a muscle and continued running for 2 weeks, I had terrible pain and got an MRI who showed a femoral stress reaction but things got worse and after the second one a month later (in april) got diagnosed with 10mm femoral stress fracture, I was on crutches for 9 weeks and gradually returned to walking, now I am walking for about 3 weeks and I am back to work. My only problem is that my job requires a lot of stairs and partially lifting things that are a few kilograms but my doctor said that I can’t lift anything for a year (only my purse with a few things or a bottle of water). I already spoke to my boss and told him it is not possible to lift anything, i think it’s just a vicious circle, you lift something of 2 kilograms, then 4-5 and so on. I thought staying at home was the hardest but but working again is 10x harder. Do you have any advice?
