Lesson learned - nose goes
So the other day my 2 year old informed me that her nose was sparkly. This has been a way to communicate she needed to blow her nose in the past so we tried that. Nothing came out. Didn't think any more about it for about an hour. She informed my wife the same thing and begins aggressively picking. Wife looks and sees something sparkly is indeed up there. This begins an hour of trying to retrieve the sparkle with tweezers with 3 adults involved. Finally my wife finds a tip online that I thought I should share.
The "mother's kiss" technique is basically mouth to mouth resuscitation, but with an open nose. My wife and I took turns blowing in our daughter's mouth with the blocked nostril open. After about 5 or 6 cycles, a bead from a bedazzle kit the size of my pinky nail popped free.
Lesson learned!
