Fnx Light recoil spring

I'm looking to be able to use my lighter 45scp reloads on my suppressed FNX so that I don't have to reload something different for the FNX and I saw a video of a guy who used a 11lb Glock 17 spring for the same purpose.

Does anyone here have any experience worth this?
