So I wanted to talk about STELLAR BLADE BLOODRAIN. After it was revealed at SGF yesterday (I live in a different time zone) many people who showed any slight interest in the game, be it on X or any other social platform, were called deg\\\*\\\*erates or worse PDFs.

People who passed such compliments to those who liked the game had some points worth discussing, which I would like to discuss too and I would love to get everyone's opinion.

1. Let's just get one thing straight. Majority, at least 85% (thats me being generous) of gamers who played Stellar Blade were obviously attracted to one thing, thats for sure, but due to that one thing, we can't just throw it out the building that Stellar Blade had great combat, awesome pacing, story-wise it was 6/10. What I'm trying to say is the gooning element alone is not capable of keeping players hooked to finish the whole game.

2. This is the thing that I also noticed while watching the reveal that voice of EVIE doesn't match up with the face. Like those puffy face cheeks, softer facial features but with a mature body. I can see where that criticism comes from visually. But again, we saw previously that is exactly what happened with stellar blade. Mocap actress was like, maybe 25 yo, and face of EVE was completely an anime waifu. So I think that is still the case here, but they just made the face more "waifu-y".

3. Then we have those actual "dege\\\*\\\*rates" who just hate seeing pretty women in the game, likes of those who said DEBORAH ANN is not hot when they saw that she was casted in GOD OF WAR LAUFEY.

Personally, I think now-a-days, just because it is so easy to hate on things, people just do it, with seeing how stupid the things are that they are saying. You had the same thing in STELLAR BLADE while in STELLAR BLADE BLOODRAIN, they just amped up the elements, now you're complaining its too much. I think its hate for the sake of it, just like those streamers who gave SUMMER GAME FEST a 5.5/10.

Curious to hear your thoughts.
