Princeton Downtown community

We recently moved to Princeton to be near family and were hoping for some input from the local community.

Last night we attended the first Friday concert down on the village Green or park and were surprised by the small attendance. The music was really good and the artists were very talented. So what is the story with the community supporting Mercer Street? We did see a much larger gathering for the Cruise-in, so maybe it’s more supportive of that type of event instead of music?

Any information would be helpful as we are getting to know our way around and exploring the surrounding areas.
