women in afghanistan

it makes me so sad to watch what’s happening in afghanistan right now. poor women and little girls forced to wear the burqa because of some perverted men and the new rules don’t make it better. what do you mean a woman’s voice can’t be heard because it’s intimate or you can’t hear their footsteps and they’re not allowed to go out without their husband/male relative? like meryl streep said that a female cat has more rights than a woman. AN ANIMAL HAS MORE RIGHTS THAN A HUMAN BEING. this is just wrong and proves how these men view women only as birth machines by forbidding them everything.

and it also makes me very angry how almost no one mentions the religions fault. the taliban doesn’t just make up these laws out of nowhere, they base it on the sharia, which is already misogynistic, and they make it even worse for these women. how can it be that there were better living conditions 50-60 years (half a century!!!!) ago compared to now? flying cars they said and women can’t even have same rights as men.
