Kinda Wholesome Theater Experience

So ok, the theater I saw Last Act in admittedly wasn't the most quiet. There were moments where the audience would really loudly applaud and cheer as if they wanted to recreate my theater experience with The Force Awakens and Demon Slayer Infinity Castle where anything surprising or exciting got the crowd going wild, but I found the theater I went to rather wholesome because the people there showed a lot of clear devotion.

Many of the theatergoers came in wearing full or partial cosplays of Digital Circus characters (first time I've ever seen people wearing cosplays in a theater, TBH) or carrying plushies with them. A family in the row in front of me where the kids each had hats of different characters like a Caine baseball cap. Kind of made me wish I had brought or worn something related to the show cause I felt out-of-place just in regular attire empty-handed.

Also my favorite part of the experience besides the movie itself: As I was leaving, what I assume was a mom and her two daughters (the two of them wearing headwear styled after Zooble's "antlers") were in front me, where after the two kids talked about how much they loved it, they asked their mom what she thought. I got the sense she hadn't seen the rest of the show, cause she replied "I thought it was interesting" as a kind of non-answer to say she enjoyed it even if she didn't know what was really going on. Found it left a somewhat wholesome and funny vibe to walking out of the theater.

What can I say? I enjoyed myself. Even if I wish people would leave mass cheering to sports events and at-home movie-watching rather than in theaters.
