Advice on SSD buying

Hello all, so I have an Asus Tuf gaming A15, RTX 2050 4gb, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and 512 GB storage. Now the storage isn't enough so i'm looking to buy an internal SSD and I have put my eye on Samsung's 990 Pro 1TB. Anyone has done this before or understands from these, I'm kinda lost. Thank you.
