BF 25m changed his mind about marriage 23F?

I 23f and my 25m have a mostly healthy relationship, I'm south asian he's irish, I met him over 2 years ago because I came over to get my degree and ever since because of the housing crisis I've been renting at his family home living with his family. Now I've always made it very clear from the very start to him that I've wanted marriage in the long run which he was fine with at first but says he's changed his mind because of the economy and he's parents being separated for so long and he wants to have his own place first, and which people are allowed to change their mind but I feel like this has me feeling some sort of way like as if I might be starting to resent or regret, like I get irritated easily or I have no libido, I feel like idk how to handle this tbh, would like peoples advice in similar situation
