Any book recommendations for half term ?

Picking A level literature and I’m pretty sure u actually have to read books in ur own time if u want to do well in it

Haven’t read a book by myself since yr8 and want to star reading again but idk what books are good

If I’m talking about my tastes or preferences about stories , I guess I found Macbeth and a Christmas carol interesting? And for anime’s I like full metal alchemist And Naruto ? I also like history and am picking that for a level too ??? (I’m a pretty boring person in terms of what media I’ve seen )
