Pokemon Lazarus, Hardcore Nuzlocke, Hard Mode, Part 4

After defeating the gym leader we gotta help Piraeus with its Chimera admin problem. I knew the researcher job didnt pay enough... we repel our way till the admin. Basculin, Cufant, A. Meowth, Wet Taurus, nothing notable, except for the fact that Bullwinkel evolves and we get access to the Ship Fast Travel. We even pick up Bulk up that gets us upgrade Bronte into a proper wall.

Now we march towards Erynis Path East to get a very so needed encounter for our empty box at this point. I will not complain about flying types this time ;^;

And so, unaware of what type diversity means, we welcome Dante the Houndour.

Not all hope is lost, Froslass Cavern is not that far, we cut throught the trainers and get into it! Someone must have heard my prayers, cus Carroll the Spheal get sent my way, wich we box Brontë for, to have a solid Grass/Water/Fire core. All hail, pun intended, the chonkest critter.

We get a couple more encounters before the next gym so we pick our pace and mow down the trainers that are betwen us and the exit.

Rolling down Asfal Hills, Steinbeck the Pawmi joins the club and Carroll evolves!

We also get ambushed by Niko but his Mudbray, A. Sandshrew and Duskull are no match for us. The prize is another fetch quest :^:

We thought we escaped the curse but in the City Heinrich the Noctowl joins the frey; cant have enough flying types i guess...

Before challenging the gym, we need to deal with the Chimera problem. Doing so grant us access to the gym and to Megas as well!

Back to the gym, wich is a trainer gauntlet!

Its just 4 trainers and we can heal inbetween, but this means that our team is fixed for the whole challenge. We deal with the chaf and then go for the leader.

We lead Kesey she lead... lemme check the notes... frigging Mega Heracross ;^;

We outspeed and 1KO the beast somehow, then we are just more skilled then our opponent: Skill link Kings Rock Bullet seed into Flinch on the poor Gothorita. Predicting a switch we Peck just in case: we get it correctly and hit the H. Sneasel in the back! But it hangs with a sliver of hp. Terpsikore wastes a heal turn and the next Peck 1KOs it, then we chain the Gothorita that comes out: 2 mons left and we have yet to take a single hp of dmg!

Incomes Stantler, we eat an Intim proc and cycle Bullwinkel that eats a Confuse Ray: the equipped lum berry comes cluth. We dont even need the newly Technician boosted (thanks to the now avaiables ability patches) Mach Punch crit but Bullwinkel wants to show off!

Its now a 6 v 1 vs the gym leader ace, Mienfoo. Not even the 2 levels over the cap can help it tho: we risk a crit from drain punch but manage to hit Stun spore; tank another Drain punch on the switch but an Incinerate followed by a full para para means we dont even need to risk a crit this time. And with this the Wisdom badge is ours! (No aftermath pic, i forgor teh he :p)
