Six years, 6,000+ candles, banned on my birthday, and seven months of silence.

Discussion

I want to share something that happened, not to cause drama, but because I think it matters, and because I've exhausted every quiet option.

I've been playing Sky since near the beginning. I've farmed candles by hand, every day, across 22 seasons. I've collected almost every cosmetic from every season and event. I've spent real money on seasonal passes, the web shop, IAPs. This game has been a meaningful part of my life, it's where I've spent time with my partner, built something I care about.

In November 2025, my account was banned on my birthday. The reason given: "cheats, exploits, hacks, or third-party tools."

I've never used any of those. My partner and I farmed every single candle manually. We were careful, knowing the history.

Because this isn't the first time. The same accusation has been made before. Twice. Both times, TGC reviewed the account and reversed the ban themselves, their own confirmation that the accusation was wrong.

The third time, they didn't reverse it. They sent the same templated message. Then closed the ticket. Then sent it again. Seven months later, the account is still banned. No evidence has been provided. No logs, no timestamps, no specific data point of any kind.

I've filed formal complaints with US consumer protection agencies. I've written to their legal department about a California law (AB 2426) that requires digital goods sellers to disclose when purchases are revocable licenses, not just at account creation, but at each transaction. I've asked whether TGC has complied with that law. I've received no answer.

I'm not writing this to attack Sky or TGC. I still love what this game is supposed to be. But when a company builds an identity around kindness, safety, and care, and then treats a six-year player this way, without evidence, without transparency, without a single real human response, that contradiction is worth naming.

If anyone has been through something similar, or knows what actually moved the needle, I would genuinely like to know.

And if anyone at TGC reads this: I'm still here. I'm not angry. I just want an honest answer.
