Do (adult) friends block you as a joke?

I have an online friend and we send each other +20 texts at a time. The thing is that sometimes that's too much for me to do and end up either ghosting her for a few days or just ignoring those messages and start to talk about something else (thing she has told me she hates and I try to not do).

Well, I have a lot of texts from her to reply to for days now, I even apologized a few days ago for ignoring them. The thing is that yesterday I talked to another person in a group we're both in, literally like two interactions. And she wrote to me in our dms:

"OH SO YOU REPLY TO THEM AND NOT TO ME???"

"THATS ACTUALLY TREASON".

"You're blocked".

And she blocked me. I really can't tell if it's just a joke or if she is actually mad, she hasn't unblocked me since yesterday. There had been other times where friends block me as a joke (I hate that joke) so I actually thought it was a joke but I'm more nervous as time goes by.
