Attack Spead Bug

I've been experiencing a bug with the enemies' recently where there attack speed is extremely high (able to shred shields, armor, and health within seconds) anyone else experiencing this bug and/or know how to fix it? I should specify its only affecting drifters and shivers (so far im still in the early game)
