exchange semester in china, which uni/city? (sufe, zhejiang, swufe)
hi there! I'm really interested in doing an exchange semester in china and my university has partnerships with
- zhejiang university hangzhou
- sufe university shanghai
- swufe university chengdu
and right now I'm kind of in between sufe and zhejiang university (kind of leaning towards Shanghai though)
I've always wanted to live in a big, fast-paced city and Shanghai seems like a kind of city I'd like but I saw some ppl say that it's not really a "good" university in china?
I've only heard good things about zhejiang as a university (top reputation, good facilities and dorms, lots of international students, etc...) too. Has anyone done a semester at sufe/zhejiang and can tell me more about it? =))
I'm doing a bachelor's in economics and business administration but we can specialise later on (I probably won't go into finance), would it even make sense to apply for sufe if my focus isn't on finance or international trade? Also does anyone know how many exams you have and if they're manageable? I'm a bit scared of the language barrier haha, even if it's just English.
P.S. The reason I'm a bit unsure about shanghai still is because there seem to be a lot more intl students at zhejiang uni but I'd pick shanghai solely bc of the city, but will I even have enough time outside of uni to explore the city/spend a lot of time hanging out with others/shopping/etc? Or will I just spend most of my time on campus? Since imo zhejiang's campus is a bit prettier.
