Legrand radiant 4 button 60 min timer switch connected to bathroom fan acting weird.

Hello, we had a timer switch installed for our bathroom fan a few months ago and it has been working great. However today for some reason, the fan kept kicking on the turning off over and over until we clicked it to off, then it hasn't done that since. My partner is nervous that this could be an issue with the wiring and is very anxious about this. I've read that flipping the breaker off then on might help and wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with this sort of issue before. I did put in a call to the electrician that installed it, but they don't open till Monday. Any advice or comments that would help assuage my partners concerns would be very helpful.
