Seemingly not enough jobs?

Trying to diversify from steel mill to harbor constantly, so I’m just dead heading around to stations looking for jobs.

Seemingly every station I get to is just 1, maybe 2 freight hauls. I have no mods, but 6 stations so far have basically 20-25k worth of freight to be hauled. I’m trying to make a train worthy of a couple de6s….. am I only gonna find that at the harbor? I feel like I see plenty of people pulling mile long oil trains and yet I’m currently hauling 6 cars from the oil refinery to the harbor because that’s all they had for me.

Is this actually a problem with my game, or is it just expected to have small volumes of freight at most locations?
