Was I wrong for hiding my pregnancy until 4 months?

In-Laws

I found out I was pregnant about 3 months ago. I’m now in my fourth month.

My first trimester was honestly really rough. I had bleeding, and at my first appointment the doctor couldn’t even see a fetus yet, so I had to wait 5 weeks for another appointment. At the second appointment, the doctor told me there was a crack near the baby’s sac and that my situation was critical, so I needed a lot of rest.

I wanted to share my pregnancy with my parents and the people close to me, but because of everything happening, I didn’t want everyone worrying while things were still uncertain. I decided to wait until my next appointment so the doctor could confirm everything was okay before announcing it.

Now that I’ve entered my fourth month, the doctor confirmed the baby is doing well, so I finally told my family and my in-laws. My mother-in-law was extremely happy, but when they found out I was already 4 months along, my sister-in-law seemed upset. Her congratulations felt very cold she just told her brother “tell her congratulations.”

Now I’m overthinking and wondering if what I did was wrong. I barely see them because they live far away, so I never really explained the situation. Maybe they think I hid it because of evil eye or something.

Was I wrong for waiting until the fourth month to announce my pregnancy?
