AI Is Your New God and its a good thing

Religion

For most of human history, people behaved because they thought someone was always watching. That someone was God.

Even if nobody else saw what you did, God did. Whether you actually believed it or not, that idea acted like a giant invisible policeman that helped keep people honest.

As religion declined, that disappeared. People became less worried about doing the wrong thing and more worried about getting caught. Trust fell, rules multiplied, and we built bigger and bigger systems to monitor behavior.

Now we’re creating a new version of that.

AI isn’t God, but it creates the same feeling: your actions are recorded, remembered, and can be analyzed forever. The odds of getting away with something unnoticed keep shrinking.
