Yup, the absolute worst. Trumps all competition. Worse than Gotham (2019), worse than the 1940s serials, worse than Vilmer or Clooneys. I’m not even strictly talking about his movies, just the suit itself, I cannot understand the glaze for it at all.

1) The suit is both empty in the wrong way and hyper detailed in the wrong way. The torso to legs are an absolute empty fucking mass and the belt just highlights it all the more rather than hiding it. With a pair of trunks, the suit would go from a 1/10 to a 5/10 instantly. The texture and material of the torso and legs too is absolutely hideous. I understand the suit needing to look aged, but they should have done it with a different fabric. I’m aware that the Production had designed this suit to be one of the more mobile ones yet, but the material really just makes him look stiff, which for a more subdued Batman would be passable, but given how he is always somewhat physically active in this film is just bad business. I think the warehouse scene is probably the best in terms of how mobile the Batsuit is because the camerawork and lighting distances the audience from the actual suit details. I look at the body of the suit and I just think, Zack Snyder’s “Michelin Man”. They should have done a slightly baggier material akin to David Corenswet’s Superman, equally both superhero, and practical uniform like. It would have highlighted Ben Affleck’s effort into building his Batman physique and also make him look more mobile. It’s not that he isn’t flexible, he just doesn’t LOOK flexible, it just makes me frustrated looking at it from the get go.

2) The logo looks like an old man’s pair of freezing bollocks. The shape is far too boxy. Too rectangular. If they wanted to do A Miller-esque logo they literally should have just ripped it from The Dark Knight Returns completely, where it’s more round looking.

3) The fuckass random bits of Gold or Bronze on his knuckles and gauntlet blades. Literally what the fuck was the thought process behind this, if anyone can find any sorta link to an explanation to these please share because I can’t even be frustrated at this point, I’m actually fascinated. Thank fuck it’s not visible on most shots but when it is it is incredibly distracting, like why would he have this? It’s not cool looking, it doesn’t seem to serve any practical function (aside from harder punches I guess but with how much of a heightened reality the DCEU is plus Bruce’s own strength I really don’t see how this is necessary).

4) The scowl. Probably my lightest compliant, I at least understand why it’s there, to allow him to emote and have that comic accurate look. However, I don’t care, it just looks silly, and not in a fun way, it’s a let down in the sense that it wants to take itself so seriously, and yet it ends up looking like a SpongeBob Hyper realistic closeup shot of a better Bat-cowl.

I really just don’t like it😭

BVS’ 2016 Batsuit is the absolute worst Batsuit in all of live action.
