Shall we help end the tipping pressure at cafe and restaurants?

I believe all of us are willing to pay for food, coffee and service we get. What’s getting weird is the increasing 18%, 22%, 25% screen and eyes staring at us while we do so. In the ideal world, restaurants pay waiter and waitress enough base salary, customers pay for what’s on the menu AND a little extra if they enjoy the service, like what it should be.

Fortunately, there are still places like this. I was inspired by an old reddit thread. If we point those places out on a map, they will feel more encouraged. Hopefully more restaurants of cafe will follow. I truly believe we can make big changes when starting small here from our home state, Washington.

Would like to help build out such a map? Over last few weekends, I built a community map over past weekends and in the hope to push this "movement" for a better no-pressure dining experience.

Would you like to participate and help? I'm afraid of violating community guideline and so I won't post any link until there're some positive responses....
