I would recommend the Agents of the Four Seasons series to anyone who enjoyed this season. Does Contain Spoliers

SpoilerDiscussion

I've only finished book one, but this series hit me even harder than most of the Violet Evergarden series. It may just be because a decent amount of the characters are still younger than most were in Violet Evergarden.

Firstly, the inter-personal relationships are amazingly written and each character feels extremely well written.

Next, I think Violet would have been an amazing retainer for any agent. Her high empathy, strength, pain tolerance, and technical skill would prove her useful in many situations. She also uses guns which seems better than the weapons the actual retainers use.

Third, I feel like each agent should have a QRF force ready on standby. Like US Army and Marine levels of skill with at least three blackhawks or other fast insertion craft so that if any attacks happen they can have Soldiers on scene before their normal defenses are overrun. That is also just better defenses would help so much like if they had a 240 ready to slow infantry or an armored unit like an Abrams on site to just delay the enemy and hold the line.

Lastly, I hope we get a John Clark/Kelly (from Jack Ryan universe, another great book series) like character in this series. Someone who is extremely skilled and would find the enemy bases in case an agent gets kidnapped and who is extremely skilled in combat.

Last point below this is definite spoilers, so be warned

I do not get why Sakura hesitated and only stabbed the assailant in the leg instead of dispatching of him. They are being attacked by a group that has no qualms attacking civilians, kidnapping children, and torturing them. They are a terrorist organization and there is no negotiating with them.
