Lockley-Newport Whitecap 18?

Hello,
Would greatly appreciate anybody’s knowledge on this type of boat. I’m considering buying one that’s listed and I’m wondering if it’s a forgivable boat for a relatively new beginner? I’m also looking to solo sail so solo rigging is important to me. It would be a family sailer as well and eventually teach my kids to sail on it.

If this isn’t that type of boat, recommendations on what I should look out for? I’m in Michigan so local lakes would be what I’m sailing on. Thank you!
