best tension rods and curtains

my apartment windows dont allow drilling so im thinking tension rods but i also need a curtain that is great with it something like linen but more blackened so they dont see through my window from the other building and ALSO the the current linen curtains i have are too thin making them flow a lot when stronger winds. I need somethng more firm but wont make noise in my sleep. thanks
