Michael not bringing anything to the job fair except for a piece of paper feels out of character

We’ve seen countless times how much he likes to show off himself and Dunder Mifflin. Whenever they have someone visiting, he immediately takes them around the office to introduce them to everyone one by one. When he’s sent to visit the other branches, he brings a trunk full of things to show off for both his jokes and his management style.
