Durable AI builder: the honest review

I’ll admit I got sucked in with the fake reddit posts, whoever did that should be selling used cars. Who gave them VC money .

The good
It’s easy to create something that vaguely resembles what you want.

You can go from idea to a working prototype quickly.

The bad

It lacks basic formatting controls.
You can’t change font type or font size.

No bold, italics, headings, or subheadings. Basic text hierarchy should not be optional in 2026.

No inline hyperlinks, which makes content creation and navigation unnecessarily difficult.

Image placement is rigid and difficult to control.
The AI image generator produces poor results compared with competing products.

The overall experience feels like a prototype made by a 12 year old kid rather than a mature content-building platform.

Verdict
It’s useful for quickly generating a rough draft of a site, kinda.

But once you want some control over content, layout, readability, or branding, the limitations become difficult to ignore.
