Possible move to Fair Oaks

Hi all,

Me, my husband and our two toddlers will be possibly making the move to the Sac area from Colorado this Fall or December at the latest. We were originally looking at the popular metros(Roseville and Elk Grove) but want a bit of breathing room when it comes to a home and lot size. We also want decent schools without feeling like our kiddos are crammed in. I guess my question is: how do you like/liked raising kiddos in the Fair Oaks area? How do you feel like safety fits in and also how do you like the community feel? We are looking at buying in the 600k and under price point.
