Multiple rooms on AP during shared duration - the real 411
So this is on me for not reading the fine print more clearly. Although I will say I have ADHD and only recently got on medication/diagnosed and I swear… I could have sworn I read that yes, you can book multiple rooms under your AP in the fine print. But I was wrong.
I saw so many comments on Reddit that said yes, it’s very simple, you can book multiple rooms under your AP. You don’t have to worry about putting people in different rooms etc. I called into book because I wanted to use different credit cards for each booking just so everything was easy to handle and they said no there needs to be an AP in every single room booking.
I guess I’m realizing that y’all meant if you book online, they will let you book multiple rooms with the AP on the passholder hotel page. But to be clear, that is not the policy. I think if you share that information, it would be helpful to add the caveat. Also, you have to put it all under one card.
I have two other parties joining me with whom I shared the discount price and doubled down that yes - i can book ur room at this rate, too. ugh im so embarrassed and don’t know what to do now.
I know a lot of you were saying they never check your annual pass when you check-in. But can we please clarify the specific and important distinction: Are you saying they don’t check when it’s just one room? Cause yes that happens to me all the time. Or do any of you have experience booking multiple rooms for the same duration under your one AP with no issue?
Conversely, have any of you booked multiple rooms for the same duration under your one AP and had an issue when you checked in? We’re coming from all different states so I might not be there when somebody else is checking in.
Ugh, stressing. If anyone has any advice or experience with this please chime in. We are doing Hard Rock, well we were going to, but if I can’t use my rates I’m not sure…
(Also, if I do book online at passholder rate and use my own debit card for the deposit, each individual can pay the remainder on their own card without issue?)
