Is it normal to be completely obsessed when writing your novel?
I'm writing a music industry romance novel. I've been writing different versions of it for years but I have finally fully completed a clean outline and finally started writing it with intent to get a draft completed. I am 25 chapters in and I am just obsessed. It is literally all I can think about - I wish I could live in this world. It's literally all I want to talk about - I almost want to get it finished so people can read it just so I can talk about it more. Is this normal? Like I said I've been writing this thing for years, but now that its really becoming tangible I just can't stop writing. Every free moment I have I am back in this world writing or updating the outline. I almost wish I could quit my job and just write 24/7. I don't know if that just means I'm crazy or if that means I may actually have something compelling here. But I have no one to talk to about this so maybe you understand.
