Should I apply epoxy resin on carbon damage

bought this Scott addict RC 10 2018 second hand frame for like 5-6 months and just realized this damage caused by previous owner.
It’s still good to use because the damage isn’t too fatal, it’s still very stiff because I have checked the damage and there’s no crack or unusual sounds during hard sprints
But it’s like the exposed resin could be damaged by moisture,heat, UV,….. I asked Gemini and it said I should apply epoxy resin to isolate the exposed carbon resin to the environment to prevent further damages, but I fear that my damage my frame… should I do it ???
