How can I be more open?
Hey guyss I’m nonbinary trans masc and I recently moved to the us 2 years ago. I just graduated high school in la without coming out to anyone. I know la is really welcoming towards queer people especially compared to my home country (secular but very religious and anti-queer) and I really want to be more open but idk how… it’s really hard telling ppl that I’m queer, especially because there were only a few queer ppl in my school. Majority of my friends in my home country were queer (and the rest were allies) but the sudden change really made it harder for me to come out since i don’t know anybody. I’m not out to my parents, only my sister. college is starting for me soon so I want to be more open about my gender identity. However, it’s genuinely hard getting the courage to do so since I haven’t come out in so long. I really wanna make more queer friends and don’t wanna be misgendered anymore. But how do I even bring this up w/ new ppl? Any advice?
