How can i prepare for unfamiliar vocab on the SAT?

Ik theres a lot of talk about todays SAT in the sub rn lmao, but im planning to take my first test probably this August, and im struggling a little with some of the vocab on the reading

How should i study for unfamiliar vocab? i feel like grinding quizlets is pretty inefficient and also its very unlikely that those words will actually show up on the test. is studying like the word roots a good choice?

overall, from experience what seems to be the best way to predict the meanings of unfamiliar vocab on the test?
