Church Recommendations in Melbourne, Aus

Hi everyone, I’m in the south-east suburbs. I’m struggling finding a Pentecostal church the past few years. Unfortunately I’ve had various negative experiences trying different churches. Such as pastors or leaders making decisions for me, and not listening to me. Members have made rude and judgemental comments, making excuses for their bad behaviour, purposely excluding me or showing a lack of initiative in connecting with me. Some churches have been okay but too loud/too much bass which my partner finds very uncomfortable.

What we’re looking for

- Medium sized community of diverse individuals

- Young adults - including connect groups.

- Preferably in the SE suburbs (but willing to travel to South, east, northeast or Peninsula)

- Serving opportunities (would love to play my cello!)

- Leaders/members are good listeners, respectful and inclusive.

- Isn’t too loud

- Bonus points for other events to connect! (Eg midweek services, socials, conferences)

I hope we can find a church we can both feel comfortable, welcome, respected and included.
