Playlist caps?

Hello all! I'm a spotify user who was thinking of maybe moving over to YTM since I do already pay for Youtube Premium as well. I've been a bit curious about how the playlists worked, and I've seen quite a few posts mentioning that every playlist has a 5k limit (bummer). I've also seen a few things about youtube raising the limit without saying anything? If that's the case, is it only for the Liked Music folder? Or is it also capped at 5k? It's a bit of a deal breaker for me, and I'm a bit confused.

Apologies if this constitutes as a low effort post as well, and mods can remove this post if they feel it is.
