So, this might be it.

Aged 56, been playing forty years. Started in 1986. Four bands, 12 albums. Three weeks ago I had a seizure and fall (I'm epileptic) and hurt my wrist.

The x-rays confirmed I have multiple fractures to radius and ulna, requiring surgery.

Depending on how that goes, I may be forced to retire after 40 years. But it's been a good run. I've been what you would call a quality 80s shredder. Think Alex Lifeson or Brian May.
