Is it advisable to travel to Fort Kochi in mid June?

Hello!

I am planning to travel to Fort Kochi for a couple of days post 15th June. Is it advisable to visit during that time? Will it be possible to do sightseeing with the rains? Are there chances of flooding during that time? Please let me know as I am coming to Kerala for the first time.
