All voting should be done online
In 2026, it doesn’t make sense that we vote in person. Most of us use online systems for important things like banking, healthcare records, and more. Our online activities often have fingerprint, id, and password security. So why do we insist upon forming lines on a certain day to vote?
You could easily open voting two weeks ahead for anyone to vote around the country. It would eliminate a bunch of the drama. Polling places typically have new workers / volunteers. They’re barely on the job. We could put everything online and end a lot of debates. Trump couldn’t say ballots were stolen and counting wouldn’t go on for hours.
It’s time to not be so primitive and use the Internet for what it’s for.
