I was making him dinner last night I had started in the morning  and I was pretty excited about it. He went out to support a friend, which was fine, but given how that usually goes I was unenthused with the promises of him coming back over and it’d be short (just be honest with me man). Decided if he wasn’t on the way by 12am-ish I’d wrap it up and go to bed. 
He wasn’t, as I expected. Later I sent a long winded msg expressing how it made me feel sad. I kinda knew it’d set him off and I was risking being insulted again expressing anything. 
I was insulted again. And this time it made all of the old insults he says when we are ok he doesn’t actually mean, rush back. I’m selfish, I have never done anything for him, I frick everyone over, and worse. For some reason I finally just felt done. I already struggle and it’s hard for me to hear those things. 
I decided to not respond til the next day, I guess hoping he’d apologize/take it back on his own accord. He doesn’t. Later he sends me a link to couples therapy. 
That kind of did it for me. I didn’t want to be the one to apologize this time. I’m tired of these qualms being dismissed as nothing. I’m tired of being insulted where he knows it digs deep when he is upset. 
And if there’s any chance he thinks the things he says I don’t want to be around him. There’s a difference between emotional messages and just straight insults, but apparently me saying I was sad/disappointed is just as hurtful. 

Anyways the stews still in the fridge and I’m eating some of the potatoes I cooked in it/was going to mash cold. I don’t want to repeat this cycle.
