Turn 3 Max String Severance HOS Ryoshu?

Would it be doable to pop Great Trichiliocosm Ryoshu on turn 2 and get every other HOS units killed to max string severance stacks on turn 3? Does Ryoshu miss out on buffs? Or this is just really an inefficient way to squeeze out a turn from a battle?
