Are men very critical of women’s living spaces?

I am a college student and I live with my parents as of right now. My boyfriend will be staying with us for a few days the only issue is this is their first time meeting him, and my first time having a man than I am dating in my room at our current apartment. (A lot of nerves and anxiety) Everything will be basically spotless and organized I’m only concerned because I have my own bathroom in my room and I am so grateful! However since we’ve moved in there is a little rust spot surrounding the overflow hole of my sink and sometimes it fills up when on and I haven’t thought to get it fixed til now. I let the owner know and something will be done eventually however it’s not a priority for them. I grew up very poor so I’ve always been worried about petty stuff but I’m like is this a deal breaker ? 😭
