mines floor 80 not working??

Idk if maybe im missing a prerequisite or something but everytime i go to mine floor 80, no cutscene starts and when i go to the thing in the middle, it says that ”this is as low as i can go for now”. I’m on the steamdeck and i believe my game is updated bc in the elevator i can see that there’s more levels past 80. im just confused and wondering if im missing something. someone help
