Nikon D700 LCD JAGGY LINES NORMAL?

I noticed reviewing images on the LCD display normally shows jaggy lines/pixelated. If I zoom in about 3 times the image and photo and lines smooth and goes away. It's like lcd screen alias or downscaling the images until its zoomed in. Just got a used D700 and wondering if its normal cause my d610 pretty much has the same 920k resolution but doesn't have this effect.
