EDII’s latest recruitment for Project Officers stands out as a targeted opportunity for professionals with proven field experience in rural livelihood and micro-enterprise development rather than a mass hiring drive. The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), an autonomous national institute focused on entrepreneurship promotion and skill development, has announced just 3 contractual Project Officer positions for its operations in Bengaluru (Karnataka), Bhubaneswar (Odisha) and Mancher/Pune (Maharashtra).

Applications close on 14 June 2026. This is a fully email-based offline process with a consolidated monthly CTC of up to ₹53,000. Selected candidates will work on guiding entrepreneurs, organising training programmes, building linkages with government departments and NGOs, and preparing project reports under various livelihood and entrepreneurship schemes.

This recruitment suits mid-career professionals who already have hands-on experience conducting field training programmes independently. Fresh graduates or those without documented field work in rural development or women’s self-employment schemes need not apply. The contractual nature means the role offers good short-term compensation but limited long-term job security compared to regular government positions.
