Question about hollow for and close combat

The gem say Supported skill deal 30% attack damage to enemies within 1 metre of you. If I use it with hollow form, do enemies need to be close to my clone or me? And similarly, with momentum, does the bonus damage work if I move or my clone move? Thanks
